Posted by este in Article, Fitness Equipment, Health and Fitness on August 30, 2011
A successful muscle building with proper diet and exercise promotes health and fitness. People, who suffer from weight problems, adopt different types of exercises in their daily routine with fitness equipment. It helps in mental focus and discipline. But if you don’t have proper nutrition diet then your body will not react to any sort of exercise. Your body will not go in muscle building state if your body lacks in proteins, carbohydrates, water and fat.
A good diet and regular exercise could lead to healthy skin, healthy body, healthy mind and a healthy life. As its is said that prevention is better then cure. So its always better to have a healthy diet and workout then deal with all the health related issues. These are the four elements that are necessary for proper health and fitness.
Protein:
It is the most important element of nutrition for body building. Your body needs to consume approximately 0.5-1 grams of protein per pound of body weight. For example: beef, egg, chicken or pork etc.
Carbohydrates:
Carbohydrates (carbs) help to maintain energy level in your body. Lack of carbohydrates, consumes the muscle tissue to maintain energy levels. When it comes to the endless consumption of it, people with low body fat take the advantage. They can take all and gain rarely. In order to build muscles, you may need 4 grams of carbs per pound of body weight. People with higher body fat will likely to require only 1 or 2 grams of carbs per pound of body weight to gain muscle.
Water:
Your body needs to be hydrated every time. If you’re dehydrated then there is no reason to focus on proper nutrition. Your muscles and digestive system need water to get the job done.
Body Fat:
If the percentage of body fat is low, it means that your body is not getting enough extra calories to produce fat. Calorie consumption in body helps to building body muscles.

Give Importance to Health and Fitness and Get Success in Life

In the recent decade the importance of health and fitness has been increased to a greater extent. In today’s era physical health is of utmost importance. Reducing those extra kilos helps you look better and the good news is you do not need to just rely on doctors or medicines in order to get your desired looks. Here I would like to comment that gaining the perfect health or in other words reducing weight is not an easy task. But once you have done that you surely cherish as well as show off your physical health.
We can make out the importance of health and fitness with the increase of spas, health clubs, fitness equipments, exercise programs, nutritional supplements, etc in today’s day to day life. These facilities provide fitness to not only men’s health but also to women’s health. The demands of these facilities are increased as everyone wants to be fit and participate actively in chosen day to day activities. Also today’s generation looks forward for an active lifestyle once they retire. Here I would like to comment that good health is a result of constant efforts and it takes years to get that desired health and fitness. It’s really dumb if you try to repair the damage after it’s done.
Also when it comes to health and fitness the most common question asked is how can one tighten or tone muscles. Now the muscles can either be of hands or legs or stomach. Here I would like to comment that in order to reduce some muscles one needs to tone the muscles of entire body. You can never reduce or tone muscles of one specific body part. One needs to do some cardiovascular activities in order to reduce or burn those extra fats. Now the question is what is a cardiovascular activity? Jumping rope, jogging, swimming, walking, step aerobics, etc. all these are cardiovascular activities. Always remember never start a cardiovascular activity as a standalone as you also need some strength training exercises. The strength training exercises helps you to tone as well as build muscle mass for your concerned areas.
Also there is a common reason given by people when asked why they aren’t working out. And the reason is that they don’t have enough time to do so. Here the only thing one needs to understand is that the day you give health and fitness priority in your daily schedule you will yourself find time for it. We need to understand that you will not have to invest large time in order to get huge rewards for your health and fitness. You just need to give several hours each week and you can see the results. You just need to find out an effective as well as efficient work out plan. Any exercise that you think best suites your schedule you can do that. Hope I inspire you to work out at least an hour a day.
Teas To Help Stop Smoking

Health Benefits of Tea Drinking
Can drinking tea actually help you quit smoking? In this article I’m going to have a critical look at the assertion that drinking tea can help with quitting the deadly habit of smoking tobacco. I’m aware that tea, especially green tea, has been shown to contain anti-oxidants. Oxidants are chemicals formed in the body due to a variety of reasons. Smoking is one reason why these chemicals are created. These chemicals are important because they react with cellular components causing cell damage. In turn this results in genetic damage and genetic damage is a step towards cancer. The anti-oxidants in green tea have been scientifically shown to mop up oxidants. Therefore, green tea can possibly help combat the carcinogenic effects of tobacco smoke to some degree.
The Claims of Tea Drinking
Teas to help stop smoking? Are there any ingredients in tea that are of help in quitting smoking? There is no doubt that tea contains chemicals that can influence the body in a number of ways. However, is there any sound scientific evidence that supports the claim that tea drinking helps, in any way, to quit smoking? There are teas that can act as an expectorant; that is, they help to clear the chest of phlegm. Exponents advocate that drinking tea can relieve anxiety and reduce stress, detoxify the body, renew and improve lung function and suppress appetite. It is claimed that peppermint tea helps to alleviate withdrawal symptoms such as nausea and supposedly helps curb nicotine cravings. It is also claimed that drinking green tea can help to burn calories thus counteracting weight gain which is often a problem during the initial phase of the quit smoking process.
Teas to Help Stop Smoking- The reality
The scientific evidence for green tea having anti-oxidant properties is convincing. Therefore, green tea may actually help to reduce the risk of smoking related cancer. The worry of course is that the anti-oxidant properties of green tea may discourage smokers from quitting. The anti-cancer benefits are relative and don’t equate to returning the smoker to the lung cancer risk of the non-smoker. Evidence in support of drinking tea to help reduce nicotine cravings is less conclusive. I suspect that many of the claims for tea drinking, as a quit smoking aid, are scientifically unsupported. As with many so called ‘natural’ products that are put forward to help stop smoking the benefits are perceived rather than real. They act as a psychological crutch. However, this psychological aspect of the quitting process should not be underestimated. If someone honestly thinks that it helps, then it probably does.
In the final analysis, I am of the opinion that the claim that drinking tea to help stop smoking is overstated. There is no doubt that green tea is a health tonic. However, as a quit smoking aid, apart from providing psychological support, there are no real benefits.
